Returns & Exchanges

At Bare Earth, every skein and scent is created slowly and with intention. Because our products are hand-dyed and small-batch, each one carries subtle variation and individuality. We encourage thoughtful purchasing and are always happy to answer questions before an order is placed, so you can choose with confidence and care.

Yarn & Fiber Products

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn and for hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on yarn once it has been used, wound, or removed from its original condition.

If your yarn arrives damaged or incorrect due to an error on our end, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the issue. We will gladly offer a replacement or store credit when appropriate.

Please note:
Color variation is a natural and expected part of hand-dyed yarn. Slight differences between skeins, dye lots, or screen displays are not considered defects.

Custom Orders

Custom color and custom colorway orders are dyed or prepared specifically for you and require extended processing time. Because of the made-to-order nature of these items, custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has begun.

If you have questions about a custom order before purchasing, we encourage you to reach out — we’re always happy to help ensure the color, quantity, and scope meet your expectations.

Scents (Room & Wearable)

For safety and hygiene reasons, all fragrance sales are final once opened.

If your scent arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll take care of it.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet entered production or shipment.

Once an order has been dyed, poured, or shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

Shipping Issues

Bare Earth is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once they have been marked as delivered by the carrier. If an issue arises, please reach out and we’ll do our best to help guide next steps.
