Sunfire - organic cotton in DK and worsted weights

Hand-dyed in small batches in our Racine, Wisconsin studio, Sunfire is a deep, embered orange with a grounded, earthen warmth. This color holds intensity without brightness—leaning into fire that has settled, glowing steadily rather than flashing.

Subtle tonal shifts move through each skein, revealing layers of rust, clay, and sun-warmed red. It pairs naturally with neutrals, deep browns, and muted greens, and brings a rich, steady presence to any palette.

Most heirloom blankets require multiple cakes depending on stitch pattern and finished size. Heavily textured projects will require additional yardage.
