Sahara - organic cotton in DK and worsted weights

Hand-dyed in small batches in our Racine, Wisconsin studio, Sahara is a sun-warmed neutral inspired by desert sands. Layered with depth and subtle tonal shifts, it reads as an earthy, grounded base that pairs effortlessly across a wide range of palettes.

Every cake is dyed with fiber-reactive dyes in room-temperature water — never heat — so the color bonds deep into the cotton and holds through washing and wear.

Most heirloom blankets require multiple cakes depending on stitch pattern and finished size. Heavily textured projects will require additional yardage.

If your selected weight is not currently in stock, it will be dyed to order. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing; larger orders may require additional time.

Due to the nature of small-batch hand dyeing, slight tonal variations may occur between skeins and dye lots. We make every effort to photograph our yarn accurately; however, color appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings.
